2D animation
Jagiellonian University
The project for Jagiellonian University is an educational animation aimed at presenting selected scientific topics in an accessible and visually attractive format. The material combines the academic world with modern motion design language, simplifying complex content and making it more understandable for a wide audience.
The animation was designed as a communication tool that supports the popularization of science and facilitates the reception of specialized information through clear narrative and refined visual layer.
Brief
The project’s goal was to create an explainer animation for Jagiellonian University that would clearly present selected scientific topics or research projects. The key challenge was to simplify complicated content without losing its substantive value and adapt the communication to audiences outside the academic environment.
It was also important to maintain the appropriate balance between scientific reliability and an attractive, modern visual form that would increase audience engagement. Educational animations of this type are an effective tool for conveying knowledge in an accessible way.
Solution
We designed a 2D animation based on a clear narrative structure, where key information is presented step by step. We used simplified illustrations, consistent color scheme, and dynamic transitions to facilitate reception and maintain viewer attention.
Great emphasis was placed on visualizing processes and concepts that might be difficult to understand in text form. Through animation, it was possible to show dependencies, mechanisms, and context in an intuitive and engaging way.
The entire project was designed in accordance with best practices for creating educational animations – to support content retention and increase accessibility.
Result
The final result is a clear and engaging educational animation that effectively simplifies complex scientific topics and makes them more accessible to audiences.
The project supports Jagiellonian University’s communication, increasing the reach and understanding of presented content, while also strengthening the institution’s image as modern and open to innovative forms of knowledge transmission.
