A series of educational collage animations
We present a series of 6 educational animations created for the Jagiellonian University.
In these animations, science meets light-hearted, playful storytelling. The project explores complex topics in an accessible, engaging, and captivating way, using a bold and creative visual language. The animations were created using a mixed-media technique, combining collage, illustration, and digital elements.

Brief
The aim of the project was to present complex topics in an accessible, engaging, and interesting way. The key challenge was to create a narrative that would capture the attention of both young people and adults, while effectively conveying knowledge. We created the animations for both TikTok and YouTube.
We wanted science to be associated not with an obligation, but with an interesting story that you simply want to watch.
Solution
We opted for strong storytelling and a distinctive visual language based on a mixed-media style. Collage, illustration, archival photography, textures, and 3D elements were combined with modern typography and a contrasting color palette.
For the 6 episodes, we created 277 collage illustrations, building a cohesive yet visually diverse world that matched the subject matter of the animations.
Motion became one of the most important elements of the narrative. Dynamic animation, humor, rhythmic editing, and carefully selected voice-over, music, and VFX add energy and help maintain the viewer’s attention.
Result
The result is a series of 6 engaging animations that combine education with entertainment and show that complex topics can be presented in a light, appealing, and fun way.

The project proved that learning can be not only accessible, but also visually exciting. And most importantly – we had a great time creating every single element of it.
